The compact Sm’D asymmetrical aluminum carabiner is ultra-light and is recommended for workers at height looking to reduce weight to a minimum. The “D” shape makes it especially suitable for attaching devices. The fluid interior design limits the risk of having a catch point and facilitates rotation of the carabiner making for easier handling. The Sm’D also features a hole below the gate for connecting Petzl’s TIBLOC or MICRO TRAXION type devices, limiting the risk of losing or dropping them.It is available in three different locking systems: triact-lock, twist-lock, and screw-lock, and also comes in a version without a locking system.
