The Petzl Am’D Carabiner is an symmetrical aluminum carabiner. It has a ( “D” shape, particularly suited for connection to diverse equipment. This product is available in FIVE locking systems: Automatic TRIACT-LOCK, TWIST-LOCK, BALL-LOCK system, PIN-LOCK system, or the Manual SCREW-LOCK system.

Different locking systems:

• TRIACT-LOCK: automatic locking with triple-action gate opening (AE: “Supersafe”) - gray/orange, black, gold

• TWIST-LOCK: automatic locking with double action gate opening (AE: “Autolock”) - grey/red

• BALL-LOCK: automatic locking with triple-action gate opening, with lock indicator - gray/black, gold/black

• PIN-LOCK: creates a secure connection; gate can only be unlocked with the specific unlocking tool (pin) - grey/green

• SCREW-LOCK: the manual screw-lock with red band provides a visual warning when the carabiner is unlicked - gray, black
