The Petzl HUIT is a figure 8 descender designed for descending on a single or doubled rope. The Petzl HUIT ANTIBRULURE is an anodized version of the HUIT with an anti-burn tab for holding the device when it is hot from a long or rapid descent. The unique square shape helps reduce twisting of the ropes and forming of girth hitches. The high strength forged aluminum provided strength while also being very lightweight. The small hole cn be used with thin ropes if necessary, or as a belay plate.
